Staff in the Office of Research and Assessment are primarily responsible for Research and Assessment endeavors within the Division of Student Affairs.
- Planning for and implementation of the Student Affairs Assessment Program.
Maintaining current knowledge about assessment programs, activities, and mechanisms.
Working with Division Directors, Deans, and SA staff in developing, maintaining, and conducting effective assessment activities.
Designing and refining guidelines for assessment plans and the annual assessment program.
Providing feedback, as appropriate, on assessment plans and annual assessment programs.
Providing assistance to Divisional Directors, Deans and SA staff in conducting assessment activities.
Conducting a variety of quantitative and qualitative assessment mechanisms to support campus-wide assessment.
Planning and conducting workshops to assist Divisional staff in conducting effective and meaningful assessment activities.
Informing the Division about important developments in assessment on campus and throughout higher education.
