Did You Know?

Welcome!

camp

On behalf of Georgia Institute of Technology, the Office of Student Affairs and the Parents Program, I am delighted to welcome you into the Georgia Tech family. We look forward to partnering with you to support your student throughout his/her experience at Georgia Tech.

As your student moves into this exciting new phase, your relationship with your student also goes through a transition. We are here to help both you and your student through this time. We believe that parents and family members are our greatest allies in supporting each Georgia Tech student's pursuit of success.

During this time of transition, we realize that curiosity is high as is the concern over the unknowns; both of which can cause increased anxiety for parents and students alike. With this in mind, the Parents Program is here to be the communication link between parents and Georgia Tech. Our purpose is to present information about student-focused resources and happenings at Tech, serve as a point of contact for Tech parents, and provide opportunities for your continued involvement in order to enrich your student's educational experience. Our goal is to connect and develop partnerships with Tech parents - valued members of the Georgia Tech community.

We look forward to seeing you on campus and are available to answer any questions. The Parents Program is committed to assisting you in making the next few months as smooth as possible for your student as he/she embarks upon an exciting new educational experience at Georgia Tech. If you have questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to contact me at ksterritt@gatech.edu or at 404-385-3919. Again, welcome to the Georgia Tech family!

Warmly,
